Buttons and toggle buttons (COMPONENT_SPEC §1). The grids below are plain HTML with m3e-css classes, no JavaScript. The React section adds React Aria behavior and interruptible springs for the press morph and the selection shape.

Toggle buttons

aria-pressed makes a toggle. Selected round buttons turn square; selected square buttons turn round.
